1. Information We Collect
Saflio applications are designed to be self-hosted. When you run Saflio on your own infrastructure, we do not collect, store, or process any of your data on our servers.
If you contact us via email or our contact form, we receive only the information you voluntarily provide (name, email address, and message content).
2. How We Use Information
Information you provide through contact forms is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties.
3. Data Storage
Saflio applications store data locally on your own infrastructure (NAS, VPS, or local machine). Data persistence is handled through JSON files or PostgreSQL β both under your control. We have no access to your application data.
4. Cookies & Tracking
Saflio applications use session cookies for authentication purposes only. These are HTTP-only, SameSite cookies required for app functionality. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party trackers in our applications.
This marketing website may use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
5. Third-Party Services
Saflio Point of Sale may connect to Open Food Facts and USDA databases for barcode lookup and nutritional information. These requests are made client-to-service and are subject to those services' privacy policies.
6. Your Rights
Because your data lives on your infrastructure, you have full control over it. You can export, delete, or modify your data at any time. If you have contacted us and wish to have your information removed, email [email protected].
7. Changes
We may update this policy as needed. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
